Another 2D Class assignment. We had to zoom in on textures found in nature and create 6, 2.5x3.5 inch, gouache paintings out of them. This is a close up of part of a large ram horn I found in the RISD Nature Lab. :lol:

Cool! I'll most likely be selling prints of "Winter" ([link]), but I need to ask for my friend's permission before I can sell "Spring" ([link]) since she was a collaborator on it. :lol:

Mmh, those are good prints to sell! ^^

I was interested in "Ambrosia", "Time is of the Essence", "The Heart of and Idea", or "Ingenuity takes Flight"!
(LOL they all are so awesome, I'm having trouble choosing a good one!!)
I'm actually really intrigued by "Ambrosia", and I believe it would make a great selling print! :)
I suggest that you don't make too many prints to sell, since it's an anime convention rather than an art convention! ^^;
LOL, another suggestion: "Enlightenment and Illumination" would make a perfect bookmark! (and it counts as a print! 8D)

Lol! Thank you very much! I'm glad that at least someone is taking interest in those! I was thinking that if I was going to sell any original work at the expo it would have to be cutesy, chibi stuff!! :lol:

Hmm, there was a tutorial here on dA, on what kind of art you should sell at conventions--I remember that it said that selling one kind of art isn't profitable, and having all chibi stuff is one bad example of that! O.o
Perhaps making chibi keychains are your type of thing~ ^^

I don't know about key chains...but I'm definitely doing buttons! I'm also selling various prints of my original work as well as fanart. I also believe that I have just added hand made Victorian style hats to my list of products! ;)
