Hey guys!
I'm so sorry that I haven't updated you all in nearly a year. I didn't want to loose my free journal skin so I've been putting it off until now. ^^'

But there are some really important things coming up that you should know about!

First and most importantly... ANIME EXPO!!!
That's right! I'm going to have another table this year! I'm going to be selling a lot of the same stuff as last time, as well as some new items, which I will be posting over the next few days. So keep an eye on your deviant watch inbox! ;)
Also, if there's anything you'd like to see me make for AX, just let me know! (If I like it I may be able to make it in time for this year's expo!)

These next few updates are on my life over the last few months.

RISD has been great! I really enjoyed the first semester of my sophomore year. Painting with oils for the first time was a beast, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.
Over wintersession I had an internship at Hasbro.
Yup! THE Hasbro! :iconpinkiepieplz:
It was such a wonderful experience! I'm hoping that they'll hire me again next winter. I worked on commercials, not any of their tv shows, but it was still amazing!
I also lucked out over my second semester and got to take an introductory course in animation. I need to update my you tube account, but you can find some of the things I made here.…

As you already know, I'll be working at AX so that will keep me busy this weekend. I also have a small job at the Festival of Arts. I've also been recently commissioned to make a couple of paintings, which I hope I'll get to show you all over the next couple of weeks! :)

However, I am especially excited to say that I get to be a student volunteer at SIGGRAPH! This will be huge for me. SIGGRAPH is an international computer graphics and animation convention where all of the leaders of the industry come together to meet up, exchange ideas and technology, as well as show off their work. So all of the big companies will be there! Including, but not limited to, Dream Works, Disney and PIXAR!!!!!
Since this is an industry heavy convention, tickets are usually really pricey and it's hard for members of the general public to get in. But student volunteers get free access to the convention on their off hours and we are even given our own job fair to connect with these companies one on one!!
Because of all of these benefits becoming a SV for SIGGRAPH is a highly competitive process. I feel extremely honored and blessed to have this opportunity, and I can't wait for July to get here! :w00t:

As for actually paying my bills this summer, I'm still on the hunt for a temporary day time job. :(
Everything that I listed above will look great on my resume, but unfortunately they don't pay as well as my art and school supply budgets require.
So if you know of any job openings let me know OR
if you'd like a commission I'd be more than happy to do so! :eager:

Thanks a bunch for reading!

If you'd like more frequent updates, I finally caved in and got a tumblr.… (This will be used for updating my followers on my current events and sales rather than reposting my entire portfolio.) This account also has the same name as my website.
If you're interested, I also have a blog for posting random stuff and reblogging things

I also have one for my cat...
she's adorable but kind of a dope, so I'm seeing if the internet will take a liking to her. So check her out!

Thanks again!
Hasta la pasta! :happybounce:
